499inks.com is a company that was launched in 2012 with the goal of offering customers low prices, high quality, and excellent customer service. The company offers $4.99 per ink cartridge for hundreds of ink cartridges, covering over 90% of the market and saving consumers an average of 70% compared to buying name brand originals. For the approximately 10% of the market that they cannot offer inks at a $4.99 price, they still offer significant savings as compared to Original brands.
They have expanded their offering to include over 2000 new products, including over 500 ink cartridges for $4.99 each, over 100 toner cartridges for $24.99 (or less), and hundreds more at rock bottom prices. If a customer searches their site for a printer model or cartridge model and doesn't see the cartridge they need, they are encouraged to give them a call. The product may be in their development or quality-validated pipeline, and they may therefore be able to make it available even if it is not yet listed on their website.
They don't release a product unless it has been rigorously tested (usually for months) to meet or exceed their standards of original-like quality. If a customer ever has a problem, they stand behind their products and are here to support with a refund or exchange. They can be reached by phone or email, M-F from 8am to 5pm PST. For technical support, customers are advised to send them an email using the form on their website. To place an order by phone, customers can call toll free: 855-499-INKS or 626-371-7788. For all other enquiries (returns, general questions), customers can submit their enquiry by clicking on the email button on their website.
