When comparing camera gear at KEH, check shipping alongside the item price. A discount on a lens or accessory does not tell you what delivery will cost for your address.
KEH's shipping page, reviewed on October 14, 2026, describes free ground shipping for US orders over $75 and excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Its terms page lists qualifying orders of $75 or more and excludes Hawaii, Alaska, APO and international addresses. These pages do not describe exactly the same boundary and exclusions.
If your eligible order is exactly $75, or your address falls into an excluded or special category, confirm the charge at checkout or with KEH before relying on free shipping. Selecting an expedited service is a separate decision from qualifying for ground delivery.
Here is a hypothetical example, not KEH pricing: an accessory costs $68, and the cart quotes $10 shipping. Your total before tax is $78. Adding a $15 item could make the merchandise amount $83. Even if that removes the delivery charge, you now spend $83 rather than $78. The extra item makes sense only if its usefulness is worth the $5 difference to you.
Repeat the comparison after applying a discount, using the displayed shipping charge. Do not assume an item-price reduction must also reduce shipping, or that the spending minimum is calculated in the same way as another retailer's.
A label supplied for a sell-your-gear quote is not the shipping method for a retail purchase. Use the information for the transaction you are actually making, and check the final address and service before confirming it.
For a time-sensitive purchase, check the estimated arrival as well as the cost. KEH's shipping information notes that processing and carrier timing can be affected by business days and delays; do not treat a published estimate as a guaranteed arrival date.
